Quannina R Z is an exceptional mare from an exceptional line. The mare descends from Quannan R (a son of the legendary stallion Kannan.) He was described by his rider Marc Bettinger as respectful but with the mentality of a “warrior”, and together they won several major prizes. Quannan R's Brother, Chill R Z was also a World Cup Finalist and Reserve for the London Olympics and Reserve for the World Equestrian Games in Caen.

The dam of Quannina R is a daughter of the legendary breeder Cassini I (Holstein) and we also find the blood of Joost and Abgar (KWPN) in the dam's line. The dam produced several top horses, namely Vainqueur R (Darco) 150, Vici (Darco) 160 and full brothers Quannini I R Z and Quannini II R Z who also jump at 1m50 and 1m45. In addition, the dam line also includes Monolino (1m60), Folkert (1m45), Medoc II (1m60) and Cilibrie (1m55).
